Step by step

The Process Breakdown

⚠️ Note: NEET Registration is 1 time only before Round 1!

Step 1: Registration & Application

  1. Visit the official AP state portal: drntr.uhsap.in.
  2. Submit the online application separately for Competent Authority Quota (CQ) and Management Quota (MQ) as applicable.
  3. Upload scanned original certificates for online verification.
  4. Pay the required processing and registration fee.

Step 2: Verification & Merit List

The authorities verify the uploaded certificates online. Following this, provisional merit lists are displayed.

  • Provisional Merit List: Issued after verification.
  • Final Merit List: Published after grievances (if any) are resolved.

Step 3: Web Options (Choice Filling)

Candidates must exercise their web options (college preferences) before the stipulated deadline.

  • Options can be exercised for multiple colleges.
  • Once locked, choices are generally binding for that specific phase.

Step 4: Counselling Phases

Counselling typically involves the following phases:

  • Phase 1: Initial allotment based on merit and options.
  • Phase 2 (Upgradation): Candidates can exercise fresh options or retain Phase 1 options to upgrade.
  • Mop-up Phase: For seats remaining vacant after previous phases.
  • Stray Vacancy: To fill the last remaining seats, typically conducted at the institutional level.

Step 5: Allotment & Reporting

Provisional Allotment

If a seat is allotted, candidates must pay the university fee online to download the allotment letter.

Reporting

Report physically to the allotted college with original certificates and pay the tuition fee to complete the admission.
